Last year, despite all the doping scandals, I hung onto a tiny bit of hope that the tour would continue to be a great event and it was only a small portion of morons who chose to ruin it by doping. Today it's a rest day on the tour, and most riders deserve it (c'mon Evans, stop being a wheel hugger and ATTACK!) so let's do a fun recap!

Valverde had a disastrous ride in the mountain and I don't think there is any way for him to crawl back to take the overall lead now. Cadel Evans has taken the jersey one second ahead of Frank Schleck, it's a pity though as Evans is a unexciting rider, he doesn't attack... but I am glad he survived his nasty fall yesterday...
